The Art of Live Looping
Live Looping - the art of recording layers upon layers live in real-time in front of an audience to create an entire performance.
From a performance point of view, live looping allows a solo musician to create an entire multi-part arrangement by
overdubbing themselves to create a vast, polyphonic soundscape by building percussive and melodic layers.

Vasuda is the creator of many such videos, where the entire production is done by layering various loops, some electronic, some acoustic instruments, and some performed live in the session. Popularly known as #VLoopMash creations, she usually takes a Hindi and English song to mashup together, tastefully. This workshop will help us with insight into the method behind these creative aspect of music.

About the Artist
Vasuda Sharma
Vasuda started her journey as an integral part of Pop Band " Aasma", with superhit songs like Chandu Ke Chacha and Tumse Hi Pyar. Aasma released 3 successful albums and toured all over the world with over 300 concerts and under their belt.
After being offered a scholarship, Vasuda decided to further study music at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. After returning back to India, Vasuda ventured into the indie music industry with her successfully crowdfunded Album named 'Attuned Spirits" which took the indie industry by a storm and put her in a league of some prominent songwriters and musicians from the scene.
She is also the first artist in India to have mastered the art of Live Looping, an innovative technique of making music live on stage. She collaborated with renown International DJ - Producers like ROB Garza from Thievery Corporation and Tali Muss from Russia. With Band Aasma, she also opened for Bryan Adams at Delhi and Bangalore. She also represented India at the Popkomm Music Festival in Berlin (2010). Worked as a music director for a bollywood film Shahrukh Bola Khoobsurat Hai Tu directed by Mr. Makrand Deshpende (2011).
