Purbayan Chatterjee is internationally renowned and is one of the topmost sitar maestros of the world which belongs to the Senia Maihar Gharana founded by Baba Alauddin Khan. He regularly collaborates with Shankar Mahadevan, Ustad Zakir Hussain and the jazz legend Pat Metheny.
