Jordan Rudess is an American progressive rock keyboardist best known as a member of the progressive metal band Dream Theater. Rudess also has an extensive solo career, more so than any other current Dream Theater member. Rudess is known as a proficient rock keyboardist known for his extensive use of keyboard technology, as well as a pianist. Rudess releases a mixture of Metal and Classical albums, using pre-written material, improvised material and a mixture of both. Jordan’s interest in state of the art keyboard controllers is another area of his career in which he has achieved success. Jordan owns the successful App development company Wizdom Music, which has developed award-winning apps including: MorphWiz, SampleWiz, Geo Synthesizer, SpaceWiz, SketchWiz, Tachyon, Explores, EarWiz, JordanTron, HarmonyWiz, and GeoShred. MorphWiz won the first ever Billboard award for Best Music Creation App. Wizdom Music has also built apps for Intel, Microsoft and RIM. At LivDemy, Jordan joins force with Mahesh Raghvan and other leading GeoShred artists and teachers in India and abroad, who are collectively advancing the platform. With every update of the app, more sound, controls, bends (that are very typical to reproducing the Indian classical music) are added to the app. In less than a decade, Jordan's brainchild, GeoShred has become a force to reckon with in the vast Indian musical landscape.
