Yashwant embarked on his musical journey at the tender age of three under the tutelage of his father and Guru, Shri Rajendra Vaishnav. Yashwant's dedication and talent led him to complete his Masters degree in Tabla from the esteemed Indrakala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya in Chhattisgarh, India. His exceptional skills have garnered recognition, with prestigious accolades such as the 'Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar' from the Sangeet Natak Academy and the 'Bal Shree' award. Over the course of a decade, Yashwant honed his craft under the guidance of eminent mentors, Dr. Hemant Sachdeva and Pandit Mukund Bhale. Further enriching his musical journey, he studied at the ITC Sangeet Research Academy in Kolkata under the tutelage of the renowned Pandit Ulhas Kashalkar. Currently under the guidance of Tabla Maestro Pandit Yogesh Samsi, Yashwant continues to evolve as an artist.
