Sarosh Izeydar started learning the guitar at the age of seven, under the expert guidance of Salvador Cardozo; and started giving performances in his school (Holy Family High School) from the age of ten. He won the best musician award for 4 consecutive years at the Youth Festival competitions held by the University of Mumbai, as a student of R.A. Podar College, from where he completed his graduation and post graduation in commerce. He has accompanied musical legends at concerts in India and abroad: Farhan Akhtar (2013 onwards), Shankar Mahadevan (2007 onwards), Shaan (2004 onwards), Asha Bhosle (1998 to 2006) Dr. L Subramaniam (1999 to 2003) Trilok Gurtu (2001 to 2004), also featuring on 2 of his albums.- has performed with reputed international musicians like guitarists Larry Coryell and Jorge Strunz, drummer Billy Cobham, violinists Dr. L Subramaniam & Jean Luc Ponty and percussionist Trilok Gurtu.
