Kshitij Tarey is a versatile singer with a deep foundation in Hindustani Classical Music, which he began learning at the age of 3. His dedication to music has led him to achieve an M.A. in Music from Khairagarh University and a Sangeet Visharad from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. Kshitij lives by the belief that “learning is a never-ending process.” At just 14, Kshitij released his first album, ‘Sant Gajanan Var De’, a devotional work that received high acclaim and set the tone for a promising career. For Kshitij, building a strong base in music has been vital, as he shares, “I had a natural affiliation towards music. The long hours of practice never deterred my enthusiasm.” Bollywood recognized his talent in 2006 with his breakout song, ‘Tose Naina Lage’ from the film Anwar, composed by Mithoon. Today, Kshitij continues to inspire as he shares his passion with others through Naadgoonj Music Academy, a project that fulfills his dream of offering high-quality music education accessible to all, regardless of age, gender, or background.
