Ehsaan Noorani, one-third part of the globally renown trio, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, have been making some of the biggest blockbuster music since the trio formed in 1996. The trio has received National award, Filmfare, IIFA, Star Screen Zee Cine awards many times over. The journey of music began way before that. He started playing Guitar in school, chose to study at the famed Musician Institute, in Hollywood, California. In 1986 he came back to India, and began playing sessions, mainly for TV commercials and film scores. Later he started composing for the commercials as well, that’s when he met with Shankar and Loy. They collaborated in 1996 to compose music for their first feature film, and since then there was no looking back. Apart from the hugely successful career as an Indian film music composer, Ehsaan is one of the topmost Blues guitar players in the country today. Fender also released an Ehsaan Noorani Signature Stratocaster in 2011.
