Anjali Gaikwad is a young and emerging Hindustani classical artist in India. She is trained by her father and Guru, Shri Angad Gaikwad, and has completed Gandharva Mahavidyalaya’s Madhyama Pratham (4th exam) with distinction. She also was the winner of the SaReGaMaPa Lil Champs in 2017, and winner of the Marathi Reality show Sangeet Samrat Season 1. Besides, she was also in Indian Idol season 12, Top 9. She has also been felicitated with many state and national level awards, such as First prize in Ashtavinayak Pratisthan (state), Classical voice of India (national), Talegaon Dabhade Sangeet competition in all three categories (Classical, Light and Natyageet), Samrat Kalawantacha, Madhukans Classical Music Competition, and so on. A recipient of CCRT (Centre for Cultural Resources and Training) scholarship, she was felicitated by CM of Maharashtra for winning Marathi and Hindi reality shows. The famed music director A. R. Rahman has expressed in many of his interviews that he follows Anjali’s music closely. That’s a huge honour in itself.
